Suethopolis



















This is an image of Seuthopolis, an ancient city at the bottom of a lake in Bulgaria. It was the city of Thracian king Seuthus the Third.
In 1954 the city disappeared under 20 meters of water.
People have now decided to excavate Seuthopolis by constructing a circular dike around the city. This is way too fucking cool.
