I came across these maps at work, interestingly enough. They are part of a virtual exhibition about old schoolhouses and old schoolbooks.

The book that these particular maps came from is called:
A New Universal Atlas of the World, on an Improved Plan: Consisting of Thirty Maps, Carefully Prepared from the Latest Authorities with Complete Alphabetical Indexes.

Incredible.
